Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal contracts, ensuring alignment with agency requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Liaise directly with federal stakeholders (e.g., FEMA, VA, DHS) to gather requirements and provide strategic updates.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and internal governance policies.
- Prepare and analyze complex project reports, financial forecasts, and performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct performance evaluations for subcontractors and contractors.
- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping systems for all federal project deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal contracting, project management, or government relations.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Proficiency in federal project management software (e.g., Jira, Deltek, SharePoint) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) compliance and government procurement processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
