Responsibilities
- Receive, screen, and route incoming mail and electronic communications to appropriate city departments.
- Manage high-volume public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding city services, permits, and regulations.
- Maintain and update official records, databases, and filing systems with strict attention to detail.
- Prepare, edit, and distribute memos, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist with the coordination of inter-departmental meetings and special events.
- Monitor supply inventory and process purchase orders for office equipment and materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or prior government experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or public sector operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines and government protocols.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess valid work authorization.
