Responsibilities
- Review and Analyze Contracts: Conduct thorough reviews of government contracts, RFPs, and RFQs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Compliance Management: Monitor project deliverables to ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and agency policies.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in contract terms and negotiate modifications to mitigate liability and protect company interests.
- Vendor Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding contract performance and deliverables.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports on contract status, budget utilization, and project milestones.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all contract amendments, renewals, and expirations within the central database.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government contracting, procurement, or a related administrative role.
- Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and state government procurement laws.
- Skills: Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, document management, and regulatory review.
