Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Public Service: Assist citizens with inquiries, applications, and information regarding county services in a professional and timely manner.
- Process Documentation: Accurately review, verify, and file applications, reports, and administrative documents in compliance with state regulations.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal government policies and procedures while performing daily tasks.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve departmental efficiency.
- Maintain Records: Keep precise records of transactions, interactions, and daily activities using our digital management systems.
- Conduct Outreach: Participate in community events and outreach programs to promote awareness of available government programs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administration, or a related government field.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and government database management systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including potential weekend or holiday coverage.
- Background: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
