Responsibilities
- Manage and secure sensitive government databases and network infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local cybersecurity regulations (NIST, FISMA).
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal government staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance protocols.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Document technical processes and create training materials for new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military/government experience).
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret eligibility.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or network administration within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with government procurement and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Clearance to work on government premises.
