Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee public sector pension fund administration and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate smooth pension disbursements.
- Analyze fiscal data to identify trends and recommend policy improvements for government spending.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive personnel and financial records.
- Prepare detailed reports for government oversight committees and senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government finance, public administration, or pension administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background investigation and security clearance.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws regarding retirement benefits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government financial software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
