Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for government systems.
- Collaborate with federal and state agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions that enhance operational efficiency within county departments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy government databases and ensure data integrity and security.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and government auditors.
- Provide expert consultation on system architecture and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis or a similar role within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure, urgent hiring environment.
