Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain a ticketing system to track and resolve user inquiries efficiently.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and peripherals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Perform regular system maintenance and security updates to protect sensitive government data.
- Document technical procedures and assist in training junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ is preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be eligible for government security clearance.
