Role Overview:
You will lead complex analytical projects, ensuring the integrity and security of sensitive government data while delivering actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders. Immediate start availability is preferred for this critical position.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of large-scale datasets to support policy development and service improvement strategies.
- Design and maintain robust data models and interactive dashboards using SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Ensure strict compliance with UK data protection regulations (GDPR) and government security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations.
- Conduct data quality audits and implement validation procedures to minimize risk.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior analysts within the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a preference for experience within the public sector or government.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Ability to obtain or hold a Security Clearance (SC clearance is desirable).
- Proven track record of communicating complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
