Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and security of federal IT infrastructure in San Diego (Remote/On-site hybrid coordination).
- Implement and manage federal data governance policies in strict adherence to UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- Lead technical troubleshooting for critical federal systems and ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits for all federal hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and digital adoption.
- Manage vendor relationships for federal hardware procurement and support services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role within a federal or government-related organization.
- Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of UK civil service protocols, federal regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in an urgent hiring scenario.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent ITIL certifications.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
