Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis for government IT projects, ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems and software solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for essential services.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local government data security and privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and developers, to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or IT consulting within the government or public sector.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, database management (SQL), and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern integration tools (REST APIs, SOAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in ITIL, PMP, or CompTIA Security+ is a strong plus.
