Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the state's enterprise database systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize IT solutions for government agencies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal IT regulations, including cybersecurity protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Document technical processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
