Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to after-hours emergency communications and service requests
- Ensure continuity of critical state agency operations during night shifts
- Conduct routine facility security checks and incident reporting
- Coordinate with emergency services and state agencies during off-hours
- Maintain accurate documentation of night shift activities and handovers
- Provide public assistance and information during extended service hours
- Support disaster response and continuity of planning initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year government/public sector experience
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
