Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop evidence-based health intervention strategies for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement statewide health programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative stakeholders and public health committees
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote health awareness and equity
- Monitor emerging public health threats and coordinate response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or policy development
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Washington State health regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with stakeholder experience
- Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Experience with grant management and federal reporting requirements
