Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and minutes
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Oversee public records requests and document retention policies
- Prepare agendas and documentation for City Council meetings
- Authenticate official city documents with the municipal seal
- Ensure compliance with Texas open records laws and municipal regulations
- Coordinate with city departments on legislative tracking and filing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal government or public sector experience
- Advanced knowledge of Texas Election Code and Public Information Act
- Expertise in records management systems and document preservation
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
