Role Overview:
The Federal Compliance Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, auditing, and reporting on the performance of state and local government programs. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our federal partnerships and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of federal grant programs and state initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and presentations for federal stakeholders and agency leadership.
- Monitor changes in federal legislation and update internal policies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of all audit findings and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff regarding federal regulations and procurement processes.
- Facilitate training sessions on compliance standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for federal government background clearance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government contracting or public sector compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement laws (FAR, DFARS) and state regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
