Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA, VA policies, and OSHA standards
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across medical facilities
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 200+ staff members
- Collaborate with legal teams to investigate and resolve compliance violations
- Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities and corrective actions
- Lead cross-functional committees to promote regulatory awareness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of federal or healthcare compliance experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., ComplianceBridge)
- Strong knowledge of CMS and VA regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written communication for policy documentation
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
