Responsibilities
- Manage and execute federal IT projects from conception to delivery, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure full compliance with federal regulations, security protocols, and agency standards (NIST, FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders to design and implement technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for system vulnerabilities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for compliance audits and leadership reviews.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Active Federal Government Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal IT environments or contracting.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management frameworks (PMP certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud) and network security protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
