Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with VA mission objectives
- Analyze complex veteran benefit data to optimize service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-agency stakeholders on policy compliance
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional and executive leadership
- Manage multi-million dollar grant programs with precision
- Conduct site reviews and compliance audits nationwide
- Mentor junior staff on federal regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Expertise in OMB Circulars and federal grant management
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in GSA Advantage and SAM.gov systems
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with veterans' affairs preferred
- Ability to travel 10-15% annually
