Responsibilities
- Sort and organize incoming/outgoing mail according to delivery routes and postal regulations
- Operate mail processing equipment and maintain accurate delivery records
- Load/unload mail vehicles and ensure secure transportation of postal materials
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses in all weather conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping systems
