Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail according to USPS standards
- Operate mail processing machinery (facer-cancellers, sorters)
- Load/unload mail trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation of mail volume and exceptions
- Adhere to strict security protocols for confidential materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during peak seasons
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email)
- US citizenship or permanent residency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Prior mail handling experience preferred but not required
