Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain digital records for state agencies, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation, distribution, and tracking of official government documents and correspondence.
- Communicate professionally with the public, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and provide information regarding services.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to state and local safety codes.
- Support the administrative team with scheduling, filing, and coordinating inter-departmental meetings.
- Monitor and update office inventory and supply levels to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development of community outreach materials and public service announcements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with government database software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow complex instructions.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening required for government clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess valid legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the Jacksonville office.
