Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and fees when required for special services
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with residents and businesses
- Maintain proper condition of mail and equipment in all weather conditions
- Complete required training and adhere to USPS policies and procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to lift mail trays weighing up to 70 pounds
- Valid state driver's license with good driving record
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Physical stamina to walk up to 8 hours daily
