Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned route on foot or vehicle
- Sort, arrange, and distribute mail in delivery sequence
- Obtain signatures for registered and certified mail
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service at residences and businesses
- Report mail delivery issues and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license (required for vehicle operation)
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly
- Availability for flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for digital mail processing systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
