Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle maintenance
- Collect postage and fees for certified mail and other special services
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and security procedures
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (2+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
