Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels efficiently along assigned delivery routes
- Sort and organize mail according to postal regulations and route sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS policies
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer drop-off locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and supply inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service for mail inquiries and special deliveries
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry mail sacks weighing up to 70 pounds
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours daily)
