Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail/packages along assigned residential and commercial routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate route logs
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and at customer locations
- Operate scanning equipment for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Manage flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexible availability for early morning shifts (4:30 AM start)
