Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages safely to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and customer locations
- Provide excellent customer service during mail interactions and resolve delivery inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and weather-related operational procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Basic computer skills for mail processing systems
