Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Load/unload mail from vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Adhere to USPS safety regulations and operational procedures
- Report mail irregularities and maintain security protocols
- Complete required documentation and route reports
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
