Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate postal vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and post office locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report maintenance issues
- Operate automated mail processing equipment when required
- Assist in mail preparation and other postal operations as needed
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid documentation
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70-pound mail trays and walk long distances
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
