Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS standards and delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws and postal regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents and businesses
- Perform daily maintenance of delivery equipment and vehicles
- Complete delivery documentation and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Work in all weather conditions while maintaining route efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status with valid documentation
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
