Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and reports
- Provide customer service assistance and resolve delivery issues
- Safely operate postal vehicles in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Good physical stamina for walking and standing 8+ hours daily
- Ability to navigate urban and residential areas efficiently
