Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Report delivery issues, maintenance needs, and customer feedback to supervisors
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Perform safety checks on delivery equipment before and after shifts
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and carry mail weighing up to 35 pounds
- Pass background check, drug screening, and medical assessment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and walk extended distances
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
