Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned urban routes using USPS-provided vehicles
- Sort, sequence, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery operations
- Operate delivery scanners and mobile technology to track shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer communications
- Safely operate USPS vehicles and adhere to traffic regulations
- Report delivery issues and coordinate with postal management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for operating delivery scanners
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
