Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the USPS brand
- Maintain physical condition to handle all-weather deliveries and lift mail trays up to 70 lbs
- Follow security protocols to protect mail and customer information
- Participate in continuous training on postal procedures and technology
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for route management systems
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
