Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages efficiently along assigned routes using USPS-provided vehicles
- Sort, organize, and prepare daily mail according to postal regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer drop-off locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Operate and maintain USPS equipment including LLVs (Long Life Vehicles)
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Physical ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather conditions
