Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes using USPS-provided vehicles
- Sort and distribute mail efficiently according to USPS regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Safely operate delivery equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Process customer transactions at retail counters when required
- Report maintenance issues with equipment and facilities
- Participate in continuous training on postal procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
