Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Obtain signatures for registered mail and special delivery items
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate mileage logs
- Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers with inquiries
- Prepare and complete delivery forms and reports accurately
- Perform light maintenance of delivery equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
