Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS procedures
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with recipients
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and route requirements
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery status
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in tropical conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
