Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages according to delivery routes
- Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and at post office counter
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Report mail irregularities and hazardous conditions to supervisors
- Perform basic maintenance on assigned delivery equipment
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Assist with special delivery projects during peak seasons
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in Hawaiian climate conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
