Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate mileage records
- Collect outgoing mail and postage payments from customers
- Report mail delivery issues, damaged property, or suspicious activities
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery confirmations
- Perform light clerical duties including form completion and record-keeping
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for weather conditions and traffic
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Physical stamina to walk 5-8 hours daily in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality
