Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned urban and rural routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently in accordance with USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and process customer transactions at residences/businesses
- Adhere to strict delivery timeframes and quality service metrics
- Operate scanning technology for package tracking and accountability
- Perform light maintenance on delivery equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and walk extended distances
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning technology
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
