Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the mail efficiently and accurately along an assigned route, ensuring every customer receives their mail on time.
- Sort and bundle mail and packages before the start of the delivery day.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving complaints.
- Utilize postal equipment, such as automated mail sorting machines and vehicle cassettes, effectively.
- Load and unload mail from vehicles, ensuring safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat).
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
