Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes according to USPS standards
- Sort and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate records
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform minor maintenance
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and walk extensively
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
