Responsibilities
- Sort, load, and deliver mail and packages to designated routes on foot or vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining delivery accuracy and timeliness
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS regulations
- Collect postage and fees when required for special services
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment and vehicles
- Collaborate with supervisors and carriers to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems and tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
