Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently at the facility before daily dispatch
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate route logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with recipients
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery confirmations
- Maintain physical fitness to handle walking, carrying, and weather conditions
- Adhere to USPS security protocols and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and walk 5-8 hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Dependable transportation to the facility
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
