Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses in assigned Omaha routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and follow all traffic regulations
- Lift and carry mail weighing up to 70 pounds
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Work in all weather conditions while maintaining delivery standards
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be available for Monday-Saturday shifts (no Sundays)
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
