Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems (EHR) for clinical operations
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Lead system integration projects across VA healthcare facilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex IT infrastructure
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with clinical staff to align technology with patient care needs
- Ensure compliance with federal IT standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of IT infrastructure management experience
- Federal cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+)
- Expertise in EHR systems (preferably VistA or Epic)
- Active security clearance eligibility
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization
- Demonstrated project leadership with federal IT systems
