Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit eligibility and claims processing for 50+ cases monthly
- Coordinate healthcare, education, and disability support services
- Conduct outreach programs to connect underserved veterans with resources
- Maintain accurate case documentation in federal systems (VA VISTA, VBMS)
- Collaborate with medical, legal, and community partner networks
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend system improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years federal or nonprofit veteran services experience
- VA claims processing certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in VA VISTA/VBMS systems
- Security clearance eligibility (required)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of veterans' healthcare laws and regulations
