Responsibilities
- Manage and process veterans' benefits claims with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Provide expert guidance on VA healthcare, education, and compensation programs
- Conduct comprehensive case management for veterans with complex needs
- Collaborate with federal agencies to resolve multi-faceted veteran issues
- Develop and deliver community outreach programs to increase veteran engagement
- Maintain confidential records in compliance with federal regulations
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend improvements to veteran services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in veteran services or federal program administration
- Proficiency with VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel within Florida
- Knowledge of federal regulations (38 CFR, PL 115-56)
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Certified Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) preferred
